Hey y’all, hey! It feels like it has been way too long since I last created a blog post. This application on my phone definitely does not look or operate the same way. Even it, at some point, needed an upgrade.. or shall I say, a better version.
That’s exactly where I’m at at this point in my life. 2 weeks ago, I turned 39 and it’s something about being 365 days away from another decade or milestone birthday that initiates change in your life. I’ve actually been working on my temple for a year, eating better and getting proper rest, setting boundaries, protecting my mental. I’ve got that down to a tee. As the BeeHive says, “you won’t break my soul.” What I am working on now are tightening up loose ends. There are still some things being worked on and perfected in me. I like to call this journey that I’m on “the making of Ambi 2.0”.
During a period of stillness, prayer, and fasting, the Lord revealed to me that this next season would be one of REDISCOVERY- to discover who I am again, the one He has created me to be. The Lord also stated that I’ve pushed a lot of people out of their comfort zone into their destiny and now it’s my turn. His last charge to me that I remember ever so clearly is this – “it will be YOU that gets you to where I have promised you.” So, it’s my turn now. I’ve stayed in the shadows for far too long. I’ve taken plenty of notes. I’ve listened to the messages. I’ve operated in the capacity of my own strength. I need His. It’s time to come out of the background, the place that was oh so comfortable for me these past few years; and although I’ve operated in a leadership capacity for many years , it’s time to go higher! Im feeling real Sarah Jakes Robert-ish right now. It’s something about the mantle!
While I don’t know what my NEXT actually is, I do know that I gave God my YES years ago…and so whatever He has for me in this season, He shall supply everything I need. They say you have to “see” it before you can see it. Guess what? “I see it” and you soon will to! I created this blog as a reminder of His promise so that when you all “see it”, we can all rejoice…..so here’s to rediscovering me! Here’s to loving me the way that I deserve. Here’s to showing my daughter and other young girls how to present the very best YOU in all that you do. Seasons constantly change and sometimes we have to alter our lives with the season we’re in. Well, we’re entering our Winning Season, ladies and gentlemen! Strap up and enjoy this ride because what He does for one, He can do for all.
